benefits of using php in website development

We build advanced websites. And, we use PHP for most of them. This article explains some of the benefits of using PHP. Also, we'll talk about our own personal reasons for favoring this programming language.

what other developers love about php

PHP is likely the most used programming language today. And, one of the biggest reasons for the vast adoption of this language is due to its GNU General Public License. Simply put, it's free to use. It's also fast, secure, incredibly flexible and easy to understand. It can be used for a small static site or build on a framework such as Zend to make larger ecommerce or database-driven web solutions.

what We love about php

We like PHP as a programming language because it scales well with any type of solution. Unlike some other web languages that are bulky and clunky and require a lot of setup, PHP can be initialized for a one page site in minutes, and it can be scaled to a site with thousands of pages without a lot of effort. Although there is a lot of "hobbyist" PHP code out there that isn't of much use in a well-coded website, there is also a rich community of PHP programmers that produce good, standards-driven code. With the advent of PHP 5 and PHP 5.3, PHP has also become a robust object-oriented language, with a feature-rich syntax which enables great Object/Relational mapping support and dynamic code construction for eleagant code-reuse and use of design patterns.
